Twittern and Stitch Bag Kit

A brand new bag by a brand new designer - Beverlee Regan. We are very lucky to have another talented British designer who has made the three new bags which we are very pleased to launch. This fabulous appliqued bag has the words embroidered 'Twitter and Stitch' and it has a pocket at the side for your water bottle and various pockets inside with a fabulous brown polka dot lining. The bag measures approximately 14 inches across the base and 12 inches high not including the handles. The kit includes all fabrics, ric rac, ribbons and pattern, it does not include the wadding. Kit available to order now and will be sent out after the 15th April.

Alphabet Bears Quilt Kit

This lovely baby quilt kit designed by Brenda Walker would grace any nursery. By cleverly using primary colours, this quilt will be perfect for boy or girl and has been designed either as a cot quilt or wallhanging. Using the Bondaweb/ fusible applique technique, can be hand or machine made. Kit includes all of the fabrics, backing, wadding and binding as well as the pattern. Size 32x36 inches. (Pleae note that we have had to substitute the blue check fabric used in the lettering and border for an alternative blue check fabric instead).

What a success this lovely pattern has been at the quilt shows that I have been at recently. This beautiful tree has been designed by Brenda Walker and would be a fantastic adornment to your christmas decorations. Height of tree approx 10 inches. Kit includes fabrics, felt, ribbon, bells and button along with the pattern. Please note however, that the fabrics used in the kit are not exactely the same as the sample. I have matched in similar christmas fabrics that all co-ordinate in the similar colour palette.

Following on from the huge success of Brenda Walker's original Deck the Boughs pattern and kit last year, we are delighted to showcase the new set ready for 2008. These have already proven to be as popular as the other ones at the quilt shows that I have taken them to and you will not be disappointed either. This pattern includes an adorable elf, gingerbread men in a basket and a rocking horse to name but three and again they are made with a mixture of fabric and felt. Largest ornament is 4 1/2 inches high and you get all ten designs on the one pattern, what value! The kit includes enough fabrics, beads, buttons and all embellishments to make all 10 designs, it does not include stuffing filler. We still have the original ones too and they are in the kit and pattern sections.

Here they are at last, the double knit darlings have arrived, Roderick and Rowena's spring lambs designed by Brenda Walker. The pattern gives you instructions to make all three of the lambs and they vary in size between 5-7 inches The kit also includes the felts and notions etc to make all three, but stuffing is not included. I know that I shouldn't have favourites or the others will get upset but I love Roderick the Ram who has been designed by Brenda Walker for us. He utterly charmed the girls at Chilford where we recently launched him and I think he is going to be an all time favourite. The kit includes a fabulous felt that we found to make him in, along with everything else that you need except the toy stuffing. He is quite an easy project to make. He stands 8 inches high and 12 inches long.

Russian Doll Armchair Caddy Kit

We adore this beautiful and cleverly designed sewing companion that every good quilter needs. The main sewing caddy has lots of useful pockets to keep all of your sewing bits together and also benefits from being able to be laid out on the arm of your chair with buttons to attach all of the little bits onto, so that you don't loose them. As in traditional Russian doll style each of the sewing items gets smaller and smaller so you have your scissor keeper, needlecase, pin cushion, scissor fob and tiny brooch. This is a delightful design. The kit contains all the fabrics, felt, wadding, buttons, ric rac and findings ,to make all of the components of the caddyand of course the pattern too.

What a hit this pattern and kit has already been at the shows that we have attended. Brenda Walker has done it again with this delightfully designed knitting bag, (although I know that some of them have been made and adapted into shopping and sewing bags too)!! The front motif shows a knitting sheep and there are more on the back including a black sheep too! The bag is very straightforward and easy to make ane the applique is all done using the fusible web technique. The size of the bag measures 15x15x4 inches. The kit includes all fabrics, felts, fleece, buttons and even the knitting needles along with the pattern.
