Woolly Jumper Knitting Bag Kit in Blue

What a hit this pattern and kit has already been at the shows that we have attended. Brenda Walker has done it again with this delightfully designed knitting bag, (although I know that some of them have been made and adapted into shopping and sewing bags too)!! The front motif shows a knitting sheep and there are more on the back including a black sheep too! The bag is very straightforward and easy to make ane the applique is all done using the fusible web technique. The size of the bag measures 15x15x4 inches. You have to use your imagination as we don't have a sample in this colourway. Where the green spot is around the top of the bag and the handles, we have put in a navy blue fabric with beige spot and the side panels are a beige checked fabric. Otherwise all else is the same except you get coordinating blue buttons and knittitng needles. The kit includes all fabrics, felts, fleece, buttons and even the knitting needles along with the pattern.

I am dellighted to introduce a new Designer to you all, Gail Penberthy who had made this fabulous cup cake quilt. Gail entered this quilt into the show at Hever castle and it won a prize not surprisingly and I am delighted to be able to offer is as a pattern, Regretably we cannot kit this project, but I can offer is with the ric rac which embellishes it all around each block and in the scalloped border. it is made using the fusible web technique and boy can you have some fun with the embellishments. The quilt measures 39 x 34 inches. You will receive 9 metres of medium white ric rac and 5 metres of jumbo white ric rac along with the pattern.

Wow this quilt has certainly been the talk of the quilt shows we have taken it too. Gail Penberthy has designed this show stopping quilt and cushion out of fleece and the seems are brought to the front and carefully cut to give it a wonderful fringed edge. I believe that this quilt would suit any age and you can have fun appliquing the shapes onto the fleece. The quilt measures approximately 50x50 inches and the cushion is approxiamately 18 inches square. The starter kit includes all of the fleeces to make the quilt and cushion and then you can embellish and applique to your hearts content. If you would rather order your own fleece to make the quilt then you need to order 6 x half metres of a selection of fleece and 2 metres of backing.
